The Windemere Board of Directors want to thank those who returned their proxies so that we were able to hold the annual meeting on July 31st. At that meeting Eric Timmons agreed to join the Board and will be our Board President. We want to thank Don Hudson for all his efforts these past years that helped us keep Windemere a desirable neighborhood in this East Lake area.
One of the goals we have for this next year is to make it easier for voting to take place and to increase our efficiencies in communication about neighborhood matters. One of the initiatives would be to implement electronic voting. But, to be able to do that we need more of our residents to opt in with their email with the Property Manager. Currently, we only have 45, or 33% of our owners with an email registered with the Property Manager. This email list
would only be used for official Windemere business and would not be used for other solicitations.
By obtaining more email addresses we would be able to more quickly, efficiently, and
economically email pertinent information to our residents and make it easier to vote. We have quite a few changes that need to be made to our governing documents and electronic voting would make it easier to obtain the number of votes necessary to obtain a quorum and pass a measure.
